I have purchased jewellery from Ellis Jewellery since they were in Stanley Market more than 30+ years ago.
Their stones are of the highest quality & all the jewellery I have had made has been admired many times over.
Jewellery repairs are completed quickly & efficiently
Everything is fixed price so you know you’re not being ripped off.
It’s my favourite shop in Hong Kong!

… their attention to detail and quality…
I shopped at Ellis Jewelry for 21 years while living in Hong Kong. You will not find any people who are nicer and more trustworthy. I purchased jewelry and had many custom pieces created with Ellis and Kenny. The original shop was in Stanley, then they added a shop in Wan Chai. Since then they have closed the Stanley shop. I can not say enough about how honest and wonderful this family and their attention to detail and quality. They are making something at the moment for me and shipping it to the states. I’m still shopping with them!

…extremely friendly and helpful…..
We have known and used Ellis Jewellery since our days living in Hong Kong, and still head there when back if we intend buying or need jewellery made. Mr Ellis and his family are extremely friendly and helpful and will always go out of their way to help meet your needs. It’s also worth noting that with rapidly rising costs/rents In HK, these guys own their small store so can offer you very competitive prices along with quality design and workmanship. Thank you once again for all efforts, especially on last trip when you pulled out all the stops to make new ring before leaving HK.

If google had 10 stars I’d give Ellis 11!
This is the most professional and genuine jeweller in Hong Kong in my opinion. I never feel like they are trying to sell me something I don’t want. I have had a few pieces from them over the years, some they designed for me and others I bought off the shelf. I just picked up my last piece before I leave HK and I am so pleased. I had my mums old wedding and engagement ring made into a beautiful necklace pendant. If google had 10 stars I’d give Ellis 11!

Shopping and sincerity are two words you don’t tend to see in the same sentence anymore, but the family behind Ellis Jewellers’ are passionate about uniting their customers with their dream pieces. Whether they’re helping you custom design something or even appraise heirloom pieces, this little shop out in Stanley has a fiercely loyal following (including our That Bride Kim Mills, who put us onto their scent in the first place!). Your engagement ring is too important to let just anybody handle it, so go with a jeweller who has only your best interests at heart.

Beautiful, classic and unique items…
This was intentionally our first stop on our trip to Hong Kong. Had previously visited their shop in Stanley and still love the items I purchased then. My parents and their friends had recommended Ellis to me about 10 years ago on my first visit. Beautiful, classic and unique items. Also love the Asian style character charms/necklaces – they are affordable gifts as souvenirs for friends. Great prices, trustworthy.

…have dozens of pieces from that store….
I started getting little silver necklaces and charms from Ellis’ Stanley Market shop in the 1980s. I grew up and moved into yellow gold. I literally have dozens of pieces from that store. I visit every time I return to HK. The jewelry is beautiful (including the pieces that are 30+ years old) and you always get a fair price there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for both residents and travelers. I only wish they had an online store!!

very honest and trustworthy approach…
Hong Kong has a lot of jewellery stores. Like Jessie J, we love the bling bling over here. However, if you want to get away from the chain store monstrosities selling solid gold sculptures of winged horses riding waves, but don’t want to go as contemporary cool as platinum “art” stones the size of tennis balls, you can get your jewellery custom made. And for that, I can recommend only one place – Ellis in Wan Chai……………….

…been their customer since……
I have been their customer since the day my husband brought me there to pick up our Engagement Ring 27 years ago. I used to shop at their Stanley Store. This is the only place that I will shop for my jewellery. They may not be the cheapest but I know what I will get. I bought all my gifts there to. I hope that one day, when my son picks up his engagement ring, he will come back to this store. The owners are super nice and never pushy. From my first ring, to my Ruby Ring (for 25 years) to my pearl strands, I enjoy all my jewellery.

you can always trust ….
I have been shopping here since my late husband brought me to his store in Stanley Beach in 1989. We bought our engagement ring, wedding ring. Since then, I have been shopping here every time when I return to Hong Kong. Now, I will bring my daughter who is getting marry in June to purchase her wedding ring in 2 weeks. I cannot wait. Mr. Lai is the nicest man that you ever meet…………

The folk at Ellis jewellers are sincere, thoughtful and extremely professional. They are the kind of people you just know you can trust. They have highly knowledgeable store staff and highly skilled craftsman. My expectations have always been met if not exceeded. Wonderful people, wonderful place.
